VISITOR DATA

For Block Form Submissions

When you submit information to this website via the webform at the CONTACT page on this website, we collect the data requested in the webform in order to track and respond to your request. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us. Your use of the CONTACTS form submission is voluntary.

CONTACT page: The information in the contact form is transmitted to the email address for this practice which resides on Proton Mail (https://proton.me/mail). We use Proton Mail for our practice email provider as it is one of the most secure email providers available. Proton Mail is a private email service that uses end-to-end encryption and zero-access encryption which provides a very secure method for email communications. Proton is incorporated and headquartered in Switzerland. All data is protected by strict Swiss privacy laws and Swiss neutrality.

PHONE NUMBER OPT-IN: Providing a phone number at the CONTACT page indicates that the visitor opts-in to receive potential text messages to set appointments or to receive information. Do not provide a phone number if you do not want to opt-in for texts.

The opt-in language is required when any business that uses VOIP for their phone wants to send text messages about their services. More information about this requirement can be found at The Campaign Registry (TCR) at this website: https://www.campaignregistry.com/
(*More information below.)

PLEASE NOTE: This psychotherapy practice IS NOT involved in any political or sales campaigns as the above may be misinterpreted to mean. It is an unfortunate wording that was chosen by leaders in the mobile messaging industry. We are a mental health service.

The language about “Campaign Registry” refers to the requirement to register with the TCR above to be able to send our patients or potential patients text messages. This requirement is not in the control of this practice.

NO PHONE NUMBERS OR EMAIL ADDRESSES ARE SOLD OR OTHERWISE SHARED WITH OTHER ENTITIES. WE DO NOT SPAM OUR PATIENTS. WE TEXT INFORMATION ABOUT APPOINTMENTS OR INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRACTICE THAT IS REQUESTED.

We value our relationships, and we apologize for any confusion that this new requirement (as of May, 2023) may create for our patients or potential patients.

*For more information, here are quotes from the TCR website about this requirement:

The Campaign Registry is the information hub that allows to register 10DLC messaging campaigns.  Our mission is to provide a simplified, fair, and unbiased service by working with carriers, messaging companies, and industry partners to establish common standards for A2P 10DLC messaging.

TCR™ works with North American mobile operators and companies that are in the messaging business to register Application-to-Person (A2P) text messaging Campaigns. The registry supports a sanctioned A2P 10 Digit Long Code (10DLC) text messaging Campaign ecosystem and provides visibility into the messaging source and content, allowing mobile carriers to provide a more reliable and simple messaging service for Campaign Service Providers (CSPs) and Brands.
